What is CFD
"Contract for Difference" (CFD) is an arrangement between two parties to compensate the value difference of a contract, comparing opening and closing prices. Contract for Difference ( CFD ) are becoming more and more popular nowadays. The reasons of growing popularity are the following:

Short trading. Contract for Difference appeals to short sellers. From the point of view of the value the short trading becomes more effective, and from the point of view of execution it becomes much easier as against to the conventional share trading.
